PERANO
One of the founders of free-style slalom, Enrico Perano has been one of the best slalom skaters in the international field.
Always looking for new moves and figures, he increased his free-style knowledge through his many study holidays, travelling both nationally and internationally. One of these study holidays was at the school of free-style dance at Central Park in New York in 1997.

He created the flowers of Ala and Mabrouk steps, as well as many others that have recently been included in the Italian regulations of free-style slalom.
He is more famous for pushing his gestures to the limit -- as incredible as they are precise -- than for his national and international victories, which are nonetheless numerous (2nd at the International contest at Lausanne in '96 and '97 and 1st in '98, 1st at the Roller cup contest in Padua in '96, '97, in Milan in '97 and in Monza in '98, 1st at Rollermania in '97, 1st at the Moon Skater Contest in '97…).
His most important records are:
- 100 cones at 30 cm slalomed internally on just one foot in less than 37''
- 20 cones placed at 80 cm from each other in less than 2,5'', with just an 8 m running start
- 80 Km/h skating downhill backwards on just one foot
He has appeared in numerous shows and exhibitions, internationally too (about 100 just in '96).
Furthermore, he has collaborated with skating magazines and has appeared on various television
shows for demonstrations and interviews
(Italia 1 Sport, Sereno Variabile on RAI 2, Passioni on
RAI 2, RAI 3,…).
For five years he was a member of the European Technique Team (with four other professional athletes,) and took part in many exhibitions, with one week in Paris at the Sport Shows, also in Genova and Trieste, at the Motor Show in Bologna in 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2000. In addition he worked as an entertainer in France at the Les Deaux Alpes in the summers of 2000, 2001 and 2002.
Since 2004 Enrico has created his website as a tool of teaching and promoting style-slalom and in-line dance. He is always available for workshops, among others, the most impotant ones took place in Rome (2005 and 2007) and Barcelona (2005 e 2006).
In 2005 Enrico Started collaborating with ROXA (www.roxa.com) creating a new free-style skate and a new TEAM: The Roxa free-style team. Enrico is the promoter and the director of the team.
